About the glossary

This glossary explains the Jyotish (Vedic astrology) terms you meet in the bot's forecasts and in the literature. It does one thing: it gives a precise, checkable meaning of a word rather than a divination from it.

How terms are defined. Articles are compiled from open classical and modern sources; where schools disagree, the disagreement is named outright instead of being hidden behind a vague phrasing. This glossary claims no ultimate authority. Computed quantities — planetary positions, nakshatra and tithi boundaries — come from a separate deterministic engine, not from a language model.
