Leo (Simha)

Leo (Simha) is the fifth sign of the zodiac, fiery and fixed, the only sign owned by the Sun. It is the middle of the fire trio and the royal sign of the circle of twelve rashis, and its symbol is the lion. In the timing of a day, Leo matters most when the Moon passes through it: the day then takes on a solar, commanding coloring — a pull to hold oneself upright, be visible, and lead.
