Sampat

Sampat Tara (Sampat-tāra) — the second of the nine taras in the Tara Bala system, following the birth nakshatra. The name comes from the Sanskrit "sampat" (wealth, prosperity). Tradition places it among the favourable taras: days under Sampat Tara bring success in worldly matters, especially those tied to wealth and prosperity.

Tara Bala divides the circle of 27 nakshatras into three circles of nine taras. Sampat Tara is the second position: the Moon stands one step ahead of your birth nakshatra.
